COMMEMORATION OF 722^nd  CHITTOR DIWAS BY MEWARIES

AT GRENADIERS REGIMENTAL CENTER

The 722nd Chittor Diwas was commemorated with solemnity and honor at The Grenadiers Regimental Centre, Jabalpur (MP) on 31 Aug 2025. The event witnessed the presence of Veterans, retirees, Officers, JCOs, NCOs and personnel attending the pension drill. All united under the banner of 9 GRENADIERS (MEWAR).

The commemoration began with a heartfelt tribute to the Veeranganas who laid down their lives during the First Battle of Chittor, epitomizing supreme courage and sacrifice. The gathering also paid homage to Maharana Pratap, the legendary symbol of valor and resilience, whose indomitable spirit continues to inspire generations.

The Mewaries present reaffirmed their commitment to walk in the glorious footsteps of their ancestors. Prayers were offered for the spirit of valor, pride, and resilience of Mewar to guide every Mewari towards greater strength, unity, and honor.

The event not only celebrated history but also reinforced the timeless bond of the Mewaries with their heritage; a bond of sacrifice, courage and eternal pride in the soil of Mewar.
