GRENADIERS ROWERS MAKE WAVES AT 43RD SENIOR OPEN NATIONAL ROWING CHAMPIONSHIP, PUNE

GRENADIERS have once again stamped their mark on the national sporting arena with a stupendous and inspiring performance at 43^rdSenior Open National Rowing Championship held at Pune from 27-31 Jan 2026.

Demonstrating grit, discipline and exceptional rowing prowess, 16 rowers of The GRENADIERS; six in the Services and 10 with Madhya Pradesh Team, delivered a remarkable medal haul of 07 medals:

• Gdr Ankush (18 GRENADIERS) –  🥇 Gold
• Gdr Sushil (13 GRENADIERS) –  🥈 Silver
• Gdr Kaushlesh Pratap (25 GRENADIERS) –  🥈 Silver

Medal Winners – MP Team (10 Rowers fielded from GRC in MP Team)

• Nb Sub Lekhram (23 GRENADIERS) –  🥉 Bronze
• Nk Manmohan (20 GRENADIERS) –  🥉 Bronze

While the medals speak volumes, an even more significant milestone deserves special mention. All 10 Rowers representing the MP Team from GRC have qualified for the National Games scheduled in Oct 2026.This achievement underscores the depth of talent, continuity in training and future-ready sports culture being fostered in the Regiment.
