THE  60TH BALIDAN DIWAS OF CQMH ABDUL HAMID, PVC

The 60^th  Balidan Diwas was commemorated on 10th September 2025 at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow (UP) in honour of Param Vir Chakra awardee, CQMH Abdul Hamid of The GRENADIERS Regiment. Organized by The Legend Veer Abdul Hamid Trust and co-organized by Centurion Defence Academy, the event paid tribute to the 1965 war hero whose courage and sacrifice remain etched in the Nation’s history.

The ceremony was attended by dignitaries including Lt Gen Anindya Sengupta, AVSM,YSM, GOC-in- C Central Command and prominent civil dignitaries.

A team of all ranks from The GRENADIERS Regimental Centre also participated, interacting with veterans, including those who had fought shoulder to shoulder with CQMH Abdul Hamid during the 1965 war. His legacy continues to inspire generations with the ideals of courage, duty, and sacrifice.
