WREATH LAYING CEREMONY IN HONOUR OF GDR LATE YASH PAL SINGH, SC AT NATIONAL WAR MEMORIAL, NEW DELHI, ON 09 NOVEMBER 2025 

     A solemn wreath-laying ceremony was organised at the National War Memorial, New Delhi, on 09 November 2025 to honour the supreme sacrifice of No 2692200X Gdr Late Yash Pal Singh, Shaurya Chakra, of 18 GRENADIERS.

     All necessary coordination and arrangements were meticulously carried out to ensure a dignified tribute. The wreath was laid by Smt Rajesh Devi, Veer Nari of Gdr Late Yash Pal Singh, SC.

     Gdr Yash Pal Singh laid down his life in the line of duty, making the ultimate sacrifice during Operation Parakram on 22 April 2003, while fighting terrorists with exemplary courage and devotion to duty.

     The ceremony served as a poignant reminder of his bravery, valour, and unwavering commitment to the nation. His sacrifice continues to inspire generations of Grenadiers and citizens alike.
