WREATH LAYING CEREMONY AT NATIONAL WAR MEMORIAL OF GDR (LATE) DHARAM SINGH OF 14 GRENADIERS  

A special wreath-laying ceremony was organised at the National War Memorial on 09 Feb 2026 to honour Gdr (Late) Dharam Singh of 14 GRENADIERS, who made the supreme sacrifice during an operation in J&K on 26 Oct 1999. The martyr’s mother, Smt Kunti Devi, was present at the solemn occasion.

Representatives of 14 GRENADIERS were also in attendance; standing together in unity, upholding the timeless spirit and traditions of the Regiment.

An interaction was also held with Mrs Rita Mitra, during which the family was reassured of the  Regiment’s unwavering and continued support.
